Ingredients :
Rice - 2 cups
Onions - 2
Tomatoes - 3
Dhania powder - 2 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chillies to taste
Salt to taste
Oil - 3 tbsp
For Koftas :
Cauliflower - 1 small
Green chillies - 3 (Chop finely)
Gram flour -1/2 cup
Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch (Chop finely)
Salt to taste
Oil for deep - frying
Method:
1. Grate cauliflower, mix green chillies, coriander leaves, gram flour and salt and make small balls.
2. Heat oil in a pan, fry the koftas dipped in gram flour till golden colour and keep aside.
3. Graind onions - tomatoes separately into a paste.
4. Heat oil and roast the onion paste till colour, mix turmeric powder, dhania powder, chillies then roast and put little water. Then add tomato paste stir.
5. When the above mixture is properly roasted, stir salt and koftas.
6. Add 2 cups of water and boil for 10 minutes.
7. Add 3 1/2 cups of water and cook the rice till done.
8. Mix cooked rice with kofta gravy and serve hot.
