Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Maida - 1/4 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
For filling:
Cattage cheese - 200 gms (Paneer)
Onion - 1
Green chillies - 3
Ginger - 1 small piece
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves - little
Method :
1. Knead the wheat flour, maida, salt and oil for dough using water. The dough should be smooth and pliable. Keep it for 15 - 20 minutes.
2. Knead again and divide into 6. Make balls and flatten and roll out into discs.
3. Mash the paneer and chop onion, green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves finely.
4. Combine the finely chopped and mashed paneer for the filling and divide into 3. Place half the filling on one disc, cover with another disc and roll out again.
5. Roll out other paratha with the remaining filling in a similar manner.
6. Heat a tawa and fry the parathas, one at a time, with the help of ghee or oil.
7. Serve hot with butter, pickle or curd raitha.
